Hi there! It's good to see the old gang is together again and hello to all the new members. For those who don't know me, I'm Simon Busby and I reside in the beautiful City of Cape Town in South Africa. I model North American in HO scale. I'm a diehard BNSF fan with a great interest in the predecessor railroads, BN, Santa Fe, GN, CB&Q. I also like the SP, pre- UP and Amtrak.
I don't have a layout at present, but in the mean time I keep myself busy, building what I refer to as plugin dioramas. I did post photos on the old forum, so if you want I'll post them again. Oh by the way, the name of my railroad company is The Bolder Creek Western Railroad Company
Well I reckon that's enough for now, till next time, Chow!!!

I want to thank Eric for extending the invitation for some like myself who've never heard of this forum to join. I was born and raised in Oskaloosa Iowa which is intersected by the C&NW and Rock Island railroads. In my younger years I pitted for my uncle's dirt track stock cars and as I got older I drove them. I raced at Oskaloosa and Eldon Iowa. I model in N scale and call my layout the Zarahemla Western. It's a small out and back switching layout. I also build model cars and trucks (big rigs). When I'm not doing that I write science fiction and fantasy stories. I've won some contests with my stories but I've never had anything published. I now live in Kodiak Alaska where I'm a substitute teacher.
