Looks good! Except that the model is a Athearn and the set isnt worth that much probally. I think the number "5600" is custom though.

"Compatable with all HO scale cars" I tend to disagree... Something tells me you won't see that model pulling narrow guage ore cars with European couplers anytime soon!

Trust me, there is NO WAY that engine will run on that track. Those Ac4400s are VERY picky.

Trust me, there is NO WAY that engine will run on that track. Those Ac4400s are VERY picky. You can say that again! My two Athearn CSX AC4400CWs seem to have a mind of their own, and run when they feel like it.

BTW, I own BNSF Swoosh Athearn 5603. I got it for Christmas 2005. That is the only well-working AC4400CW, though sometimes it develops an attitude.

Well Ive got myself too HO P2K Demo SD60's (Numbers 1 and 4), and they run like a charm, and they'll pull anything I put behind them. I also got them off eBay for 50US each. ;D Heres a shot of em' in action at the model train club I belong to, the North Okanagan Model Railroad Association. Not the best picture but the lighting is crap in that room.

Man, I had an Athearn AC4400 once...it was a BB, ran like it was on a gravel road, and derailed about 8 or 9 times a mile...picky like nothing I've ever seen. Now the cab is a permanent display near my roundhouse.....

...ran like it was on a gravel road... What have you against gravel roads? Not only do I live on a gravel, there are more gravel roads than paved roads here. Besides doing doughnuts is easier on a gravel intersection than a paved intersection ;D (especially with my truck)
