Well, the N Scale National Convention is next week in Hartford. Not a whole lot of talk about it or what products might be introduced. I hope it is more than what came out of the NMRA Convention in Chicago. Very little on the N Scale side. Kato’s CG1 might be a hit.
I am a steam guy and have my fingers crossed from more steam engines. Maybe Model Power will come thru.

Received a call from a fellow in the northeast that attended the N Scale Convention today. He says not much in the way of new stuff. He was disappointed.
IM is showing a new pellet car and a picture of a new milk car.
Atlas is showing its new code 65 track with the molded road bed.
He did say it is a very small show. Not many manufactures showing their stuff. Way up in Connecticut…no kidding

Last report received on N Scale Convention.
Atlas new code 65 unitrack is all the same color, light beige or something similar......I have not seen beige prototype ballast.....first time for everything is guess.
Kato did not show.....probably did not have anything to show.
At the most, maybe 400 n scalers. I thought the northeast part of the United Sates had a bunch of N Scalers.
Micro-Train was there
Intermountain there along with Wig Wag and a number of eastern hobby shops.
Big talk is that next year will be good...Will be held in Kentucky.
If next year's convention will be big....why was this one not big? I am wonder if the controlership by N Scale Collector has an effect on the convention.
Well, on to bigger and better things.

Was just looking at the Intermountain site as saw the new cars they apparently announced at the N Scale Convention. If you are into milk cars, they have six different company names.
I also see the 4, 1937 AAR 40’ Box Cars.
