Hey guys, new here, Tom basically told me to join. Well I model BN in N scale. Been modeling BN for about 18 years now, so I know a thing or 2 about it. I model in about 1994, being its late enough that I can run SD70MACs but early enough that BNSF doesn't exist.

Welcome Walt. Another good thing about modeling 1994 is that you can still occasionally find one of the predessesors cars still unpainted. They'll have BN reporting marks. I remember watching a train go through Knoxville Iowa an the late eighties that had a 40' GN boxcar.

there's still GN, NP, SP&S, CB&Q and Frisco cars in original paint with original reporting marks. Often cars don't have the reporting marks change.
