This worked on the original forum (to an extent that I liked it), so I am trying it again.
Apon the "firing" or resigning of an elected staff member, members (staff or not) can post an "application" for candidacy for the position to be filled. The best two of the applicants will be selected to run in an election of popular vote, by all members.
Requirments Candidates cannot have any warning level. They must also be regular contributors to the forum, and not have a problem with making thier emails visible, unless they visit the forums and check thier emails twice or more a day (this doesn't mean post, just come and check your private messages).
Election Candidates cannot, under any circumstances, vote in thier own election. If this is found to be happening, the candidate that voted in the election, be it for his/herself or for the other candidate, automatically loses the election. However, candidates can vote in any election that they aren't running in.
*Note: When anyone wishes to run for the open position, post it on the general board in the Open Positions thread.

That isn't nessicarily what this is sayin. What this means is that the members will be electing staffers from now on.

Someone better re-write this I think, because here's how it reads... Candidates cannot, under any circumstances, vote in thier own election. If this is found to be happening, the candidate that voted in the election...automatically wins the election.I don't think that's what you intended is it?

Should have said the "candidate that votes, be it for her/himself, automatically loses the election". Thanks for catching that.
