Yesterday I saw BNSF DASH 9 1065.It had been repainted into the wedgie scheme. Is BNSF repainting all the H1s or had this unit been recently shopped?

They are probably repainting old units that are getting rebuilt or overhualed.

In theory (assuming BNSF doesn't come up with yet another new paint scheme ) everything will get the wedgie, it's just a matter of time. It will be a long process as the locomotives will have to wait to be shopped before they get painted. So to answer your question: yes and no. Incidentally it's the same story with un-patched locos owned by UP.

There's some stuff that look good in H3 like a War Bonnet or a GEVO, ACe. Then there is stuff you should leave alone. Please let there be a H4 sometime soon.

As of right now. "ALL" BNSF units will get the new logo. There will no longer be anymore H1's H2's. From now on it is all new logo. Once they go to the shop.

WHAT?! Didn't you say this long time ago and people didn't really like the way you were going with that. I don't believe that the ''Barf Bonnet'' will become a H3, BNSF 4723, BNSF 4801(yeah GOOD LUCK with that one). Having all H3 locos will probably never happen unless I see some offical proof that this will happen. Having one paint job will probably work better for NS or UP rather than BNSF. Plus, for all engines to go to the shop will take a long time H4 will probably come before that happens.

Ha. That is a laugh. I am sure that is what BNSF plans, but like Kevin said...most likely not gonna happen.

Well I hate to bring it to you. But as you already know that alot of the older power that goes to the shop have already gotten the new paint. It is only a matter of time before the rest follow suit. The H1's H2's are already getting the new paint. Just like the D&RGW's,SP's that are still out running around still in their own Railroad name are soon the get the Union Pacific name on them.

It will be years for that to happen though. You have atleast 1600 AC4400CW's operating on the BNSF. That would take some time to paint all of them into H3. You have a piece of crap sitting in Waycross wearing H2 thats not going to see track time for some time. If all of them get H3 some would be pretty ugly in that paint scheme(H3 SD60M? Stick with BN White Face). It would also get pretty dull.

True. The SD45-2 they painted in H3 they are missing the whole other side of the body of the engine to small for a big engine. A yellow bonnet paint job did better for that -2. Anyways BNSF is probably just getting some new engines some paint jobs to see what they look like on the new engine. CSX painted a CW60AC in YN3(C&O paint) as an experiment and I don't see them taking over their roster with YN3. Unless I see proof from a BNSF offical that H3 is now taking over H1, H2, BN/BNSF(one of a kind paint job ex. BNSF 8070), Yellow/Red bonnets, Barf Bonnet, BN EXE, etc. I don't see it happening. If I remeber right trains.com didn't agree with you when you posted the same thing.
