who did they sell them to? (the scrap metal company?) Why would a Geep that new with so much useful life left, be scrapped? FYI, they're headed to the New Brunswick Southern Railway (Canada)

IS MRL considered a shortline here? My wife years ago didn't like them when Lionel first came out with them - I of course did.
Now GUESS what she collects?

MRL would be a Reigonal. i dont know what the exact criteria is, but MRL is quite big

Got it! Thanks - fav short line is the Juniata Valley Railroad where I grew up in PA. When I came back from Iraq in 2003 the wife and I spent a day with them "operating".
