Kelowna Pacific Railway Ltd. (“KPR”) is owned by KnightHawk Rail Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of KnightHawk Inc. (“KnightHawk ”). KnightHawk Inc. is a publicly traded company listed on the Canadian Venture Exchange. The KPR is located in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley. The network consists of 104.2 miles of mainline track, 6.4 miles of associated sidings and spurs, and approximately 25.6 miles of running rights on Canadian Pacific Railway. The KPR connects with CN’s Kamloops Yard. The KPR handles approximately 16,000 carloads per year. The major commodities are Forest Products, Grain, and Industrial Products. The Kelowna Pacific Railway is a short line railway, formally CN, runs from Kamloops, British Columbia, to Kelowna, British Columbia (118 miles) Running through Armstrong BC, Vernon BC, Lake Country BC. Hauls mostly Wood Products, but does ship grain, chemicals, and other goods. Yes unfortunately, I think I'll have to go and add some of the info from above. Heres one shot I took at the Main KPR Yard last summer. Trains in the Okanagan dont run on the weekends so thats why all the KPR Power is in this shot.

Why aint they got thier own motive power? They did. They had 6 MLW M420w's but they ended up selling them to Lake State Railway in MI. After that they just started leasing all their power. I think it has something to do with less taxes or something.
