Yeah, I own a Athearn BNSF AC44CW, number 5603, I got it in December 2005. And it is in Heritage Three, yet the real one I think is in Heritage Two. Think of it like this. They did it anticipating the repaint of the original. Of course with BNSF by the time they get around to repainting that loco they will have a new scheme. Ya tell me about it. I have a Locmotive that doesn't even have the correct paint scheme from the real one. Im sueing Athearn for Logo infringement. LOL

off by 50+ years to no such thing as UP loco 1836 for a 2-6-2 ill have to find the real # for it then. Well, there's good news and there's bad news: The good news? Your search is over! The bad news, on the other hand? UP never had any 2-6-2s, at least, none that I've ever run across on their roster lists. -- Paul

I thought they did, but my roster doesn't show any. The Union Pacific Historical magazines are a great resource for modeling too. I don't subscribe, but I ordered a few issues that focused on my area, or a specific loco type. They contain lots of good pics and are very helpful.
