I went to Nursery, Texas today, which is about 28 miles or so from Cuero, to see a guy there that was selling some N scale trains. THIS DUDE WAS LOADED!!!!!!!! He had $14,000+ worth of Lionel AT HIS HOUSE ALONE! So I traded some of old Lionels and track and that helped cover the cost. I also had $40 in my pocket. So for this (roughly $60), I got the following (all Bachmann):
1. Santa Fe F3 A-A set 2. UP 40' boxcar 3. Santa Fe 50' Reefer 4. New Haven 50' Flatcar w/ container load 5. Great Northern Covered Hopper 6. Hooker Chemicals Single Dome Tank Car 7. Santa Fe Off Center Cupola Caboose
Perty sweet hual huh boys.

Eh, I'll admit that Bachmann aint the best but it could have been worse. At least the dude didn't have Life-Likes. LOL

That's funny I heard the exact oposite from my hobby dealer once. He told me the old Model Powers were good locos, were talking HO not N. He had a set of Alco's that ran very well.

Ha. I can agree to that! Everytime that I want to run that damn Bachman F unit, I have to let it run for three or four laps at full throttle to warm it up.
