Vic, they were all rebuilt form high-nose GP9s because ALL GP9s were high-nose at one time Not quite all.Phelps Dodge ordrded the first low nose GP9 straight from La Grange.The final order of SP GP9s was for low nose units.These two orders were the only factory built low nose GP9s.

Well I had fun on September 23rd. I saw IC 6260 on the NS line right outside my door. Has to be one of the best days of the year for me.

Yeah, one reason that its the best day is I was going between 45 and 55 when i took the pic of it, and didnt hit anything.
