I'll tell you boys that bar none, the best paint job that the Burlington Northern ever put out was the Executive scheme.

The executive scheme is great, but try finding paint for it.... I can't. And I got the BN business car trian in the works.

I've got a BN SD70MAC, Athearn Genesis, in the executive paint scheme, though it isn't very cooperative. I'm finding Athearn slightly annoying. But their AC44CW's are the worst.

Mine is definately an Athearn product, I still have the box.......somewhere. I got if for Christmas 2004. It runs fine, just not very cooperative at times. Though my CSX AC44CW's are horrible. They run when they feel like it.

Sounds like maybe they need to be torn down and thoroughly cleaned. After a while, the contact points get little rust or corrosion and plays he** with the pickup.

Rich what are you using for curves? If you use 18" your track has to be 100% perfect or an AC4400 will derail. Runs much better on 22" curves.
