I liked the Wisconsin Central,because of all those SD45s.I love SD45s.Then CN gobbled up the WC and ruined everything. Montana Rail Link is pretty cool,too.

FEC- Flordia East Coast. One of the freindliest RR's not much power like MRL but oh well.

Wheeling & Lake Erie and Ohio Central are my favorite Class II railroads.

I like Ohio Central because of their awesome array of power. Including steam and diesel. I like Wheeling & Lake Erie, because it is in my blood (family worked for it) plus I grew-up with it, plus I like the DRGW-influence paint scheme. And they give out cabrides to almost everybody.
Fun fact: The president of WE is the old president of the DRGW.

Mines got to be Southern Railway of British Columbia. They are part of Washington Corp. which also owns MRL.

it depends, UP is a mega system, that has the money to run a few unprofitable lines, plus this was back in pre deregulation days and, then, if you manage your buisness badly, you lose money. its that simple
