yeh, i like knowing that there are others outside of BNSF and UP (as much as i like BNSF i dont really like it)
i hope that someone like MRL can get class one status. i heard they were going to be a c1 a few years ago, but had the revenue limit raised. is this true?

many, many people dislike UP. personally, i dont mind them, and will be modelling some UP trains

Eric, yes I do. I don't quite HATE them, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see a UP train unless it was the remaining CNWs (or the CNW heritage unit), or a UP steam train.

Speaking of regionals, the DM&E / IC&E (which is the largest Class 2 RR) will become Class 1 once DM&E's new line to the powder river basin is going.
